Character, Attitude, Skill and Habits
During the TRANSFORM 2018 Leadership conference, I learned a lot from an interesting acronym CASH. This stands for Character, Attitude, Skills and Habits.
Character is defined in the dictionary to mean “the mental and moral qualities of an individual” (Google Dictionary). It also refers to who you are when nobody is looking.
We all have a character gap from who we are and who we want to be. We need to work on closing that gap. One way of closing in that gap is identifying the need to do so. I once read a character growth card and it gave three broad categories of character for improvement. These are; Social character that is exemplified through social intelligence and gratitude, Achievement character that is exemplified through grit and attaining personal goals and finally, Intellectual character identified through curiosity.
